Gary Varnavides – Founder & CEO
Experience
Mr. Varnavides is an accomplished attorney and entrepreneur. Prior to founding Cielo Health, Mr. Varnavides was a securities litigator at a New York-based law firm for ten years, where he counseled a wide range of sophisticated individuals and corporate clients through business disputes, complex litigations, and in government investigations around the United States. He brings this experience to bear counseling Cielo Health's clients by offering them innovative health care solutions for their families and businesses.

Education & Professional Credentials
Mr. Varnavides is a graduate of Boston College and Fordham University School of Law. He remains a licensed attorney in New York, as well as the United States Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Personal
Mr. Varnavides is a co-founder and director of Flora Industries, Inc., a start-up technology company focused on the development and manufacturing of LED-based lighting equipment and related proprietary software. He is also the founder of Canyva, an e-commerce platform. He was born and raised in New York but is a recent LA-transplant, where he resides with his wife.

Pooja Kumar, MD – Partner
Experience
Dr. Kumar is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and a partner in a private practice and private hospitalist group. She specializes in preventative medicine, chronic medical illnesses, and the full scope of hospital medicine and practices in the Greater Los Angeles area. She holds privileges at Centinela Hospital Medical Center and Memorial Hospital of Garden.
Dr. Kumar has been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic since it began and has personally treated far too many patients with COVID-19. She brings her considerable experience treating COVID-19 to Cielo Health's clients.

Education
Dr. Kumar is a graduate of University of San Francisco, American University, and St. George's University, School of Medicine. Dr. Kumar completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.​
Personal

When Dr. Kumar is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters in the South Bay area outside of Los Angeles.

Ashok Kumar, MD – Partner
Experience
Dr. Kumar is a Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Internal Medicine physician who has been practicing medicine for more than forty years. During his distinguished career, Dr. Kumar has served as the Chief of Staff at the former Robert F. Kennedy Hospital, and as Chief of Staff and Medical Director at Memorial Hospital of Gardena. Dr. Kumar currently holds privileges at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Memorial Hospital of Gardena, Cedars Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital, and various long term acute care facilities in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Due to his vast experience as a pulmonologist, Dr. Kumar has been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic since its inception and has personally treated hundreds of COVID-19 patients.

Education
Dr. Kumar is a graduate of Government Medical College of Amristar. Dr. Kumar completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the District of Columbia General Hospital. He went on to complete a Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at King Drew Medical Center.
Personal

When Dr. Kumar is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife of more than forty years, their three grown children, and their two granddaughters in the South Bay area outside of Los Angeles.
